Some facts about George…
- I was born in Columbus, Ohio USA on June 22, 1966 at St. Ann’s Hospital for Women.
- I attended Kindergarden at Harding Middle School in Steubenville, Ohio.
- I attended Holy Rosary Central Grade School
- I graduated from Steubenville Catholic Central in 1984.
- I graduated from The DeVry Institute of Technology in Columbus, Ohio with a BS in Computer Information Systems in 1987.
- I work for the Ohio Bureau of Worker’s Compensation in Columbus, Ohio. I started working there on August 1, 1988. I mostly do Systems Administration working with Sun Solaris Sparc based servers.
- My first computer was a Commodore 64. My second computer was an Amiga 2000 and then an Amiga 3000. After that, I moved on to the world of WinTel PC’s. I also dabble in Linux.
- Film Critic Roger Ebert quoted me in his book Questions for the Movie Answer Man. (My 15 minutes of fame is located on the top of page 207). Someone had asked Roger a question about a film and Roger quoted me from a USENET posting of mine (which happened to address the same subject). I am even listed in the index in back! Pretty cool!
